Horse Fever Second Generation
The second phase of “Horse Fever” generated a lot of interest with artists far and wide in Marion County. The challenge was to design a horse with whatever motif the artist chose. The outcome was over 300 entries for the selection committee to chose from. “Forest King” was one of the selections and was sponsored by Angie Lewis State Farm Insurance. “Forest King” stood on the grounds of Angie Lewis’s company in all his splendor and glory for all to see.. This event gave the Ocala community a sense of pride and great interest….after all Ocala is Horse Country.
